Set up ClubV1 to export membership data for CLUB View

This article contains instructions for the once-only task of creating a report/list in ClubV1, which you can then use to export membership data in the right format to be imported into your CLUB View website.

  1. In ClubV1 click on the 'Reports' link in the horizontal navigation.

  2. Click the 'Add List' Button in the vertical navigation

  3. Complete the Report Details form as below, setting 'Short Report Name' box to 'CLUB View', the 'Report Title Text' to the name of your club, and other options to those highlighted in orange.

  4. Click the 'Continue' button to show the 'Choose Fields' screen.

  5. Once you are on the 'Choose Fields' screen, in the 'Selected' box click on 'Title/Forename/Surname' to remove it. Add the required fields in the 'Available' box by clicking on the field to move it to the 'Selected' box. Important:  Add the fields in this order:
    1. Rec No
    2. Title
    3. Surname
    4. Fornames
    5. Gender
    6. Date of Birth
    7. CDH ID
    8. Card No.
    9. Membership Category
    10. Email Address
    11. Telephone (Home)
    12. Telephone (Mobile)
    13. Telephone (Work)
    14. Address1
    15. Address2
    16. Address3
    17. Town/City
    18. County
    19. Postcode
    20. Country
  6. The Selected box should now look like this:

  7. Click the 'Continue' button to show the 'Choose Sort' screen.
  8. From the 'Available' box click 'Surname' and then Forenames'. The Selected box should now look like this:

  9. Click the 'Continue' button to show the 'Choose Filter' screen.
  10. Please select/create a filter that includes all current members. Do not include deceased members, resigned members, or other members that you do not want to be able to log in to the website.

  11. Click the 'Continue' button to show the Preview/Confirm' screen, then click the 'Finish' button to save the list.

Once you have completed these steps you can then use your new ClubV1 'list' to export a file of membership data you can then upload to the website.
